Privacy

Dressmaker Wiki is a static site. There are no accounts, no logins, and nothing on it asks you for personal information. It runs analytics, and this page says plainly what each service collects.

Analytics

  • Google Analytics 4 counts visits and records which pages get used. A Google Analytics web stream can also record scroll depth, clicks that leave the site, file downloads and site searches, not only page views, and this site does not switch that off. Google signals and ad personalization are switched off in its configuration. It loads after the page has finished loading.
  • Microsoft Clarity records sessions. That is more than counting: it captures pointer movement, clicks and scrolling so that pages can be replayed and aggregated into heatmaps. It does not start until you click, scroll or press a key; a visit where you only read loads nothing from Microsoft. Once it starts, Microsoft’s servers set their own cookies on clarity.ms and bing.com.

Each sets its own identifiers. None is used to build a profile of you here, and this site does not try to identify individual visitors. View source on any page to see exactly which scripts load.

Advertising

None is served at the moment. If advertising is added, this section is rewritten in the same deploy that adds it.

What this site itself stores

Nothing on a server. In your browser it keeps one preference, light or dark theme, so the page does not flash the other theme on the next visit.

What reaches Cloudflare

The site is served as static files from Cloudflare, so ordinary web server request logs exist at that layer, as they do for any website. This site does not query them.

Cloudflare also adds its own small analytics script, Web Analytics, to pages it serves to browsers. It is not part of this site’s code and there is no switch on this site to turn it off. It reports page load timings and visit counts to Cloudflare, which describes it as cookieless. A content blocker stops it too.

Who runs this

This is an unofficial fan reference, not the studio’s site; the about page says how pages are written, and the sources page lists where each fact comes from.

Opting out

A content blocker, or a browser that blocks third-party scripts, stops any analytics script here from loading. Nothing on this site depends on one working.
