Pattern unlocks: the starting set, every client’s stars, and the patterns on no list

There are 178 patterns in three groups. 40 are in your Sketchbook from the start. 117 belong to the clients: when a client’s friendship reaches a new star, that star’s patterns are added. The other 21 are on no unlock list, and 19 of those have no sewing pieces at all, so they cannot be made in this version (the list). Search the pattern you want below to see whose star it is on, then work on that friendship.

How a client’s star fills

Passed commission	One full star, plus the card’s budget in gold. The cards and what they ask for are in the commission finder.
Failed commission	A quarter of a star. You still get the full budget. Four failed dresses for one client add up to one star.
Gift that lands	One full star if the dress meets that client’s gift card, or if its Quality without her measurements (40% grain, 60% sewing, rounded) is 81 or more. Each client’s gift card is on what each client wants.
Any other gift	A quarter of a star.

Quarters add up, but the patterns arrive only when a whole star is reached: three quarters unlock nothing, and the fourth brings the star and its patterns. When they do, the game says “Your friendship has inspired new dress patterns!” and offers Add to Sketchbook.

Each piece carries its own style tags, so a new bodice or skirt is often the fastest way to reach a tag a card asks for. How pieces feed the tag bars is under dress pieces.

Priya has the most to give, 14 patterns. Not every star brings patterns: stars one to four add some for every client, but only Prudence and Priya have a pattern on star 5. Tap a name for that client’s commissions and lines.
