Dressmaker patch notes
Dressmaker launched on 21 September 2026 and the first patch, Build 403, followed on 22 September. This page keeps each change in the studio’s own words and newest first.
Build 403, 22 September 2026
The studio’s post calls it their first patch. Posted as the studio's first patch post, Build 403
Fix for mouse cursor sometimes going invisible in the cutting room tutorial and not coming back
Enable 'back' button during store tutorial
You now need to ring the bell to summon the next customer
how a dress gets madeFix some lace trim items not being tagged as such
lace trimFix for failed commissions not giving money (if the character accepts the commission, you should be paid)
budgets and payFix single keyhole bodice
Fix for shop buttons not responding on ultra-giga-unnecessarily wide aspect ratios
No bugs. Breaking the game now would be bad, so I didn't put any bugs in the update. trust
The two that change play: the next client now waits for the desk bell, and a failed commission pays if the client accepts the dress. Bugs still open after this patch are on known bugs and fixes.
What the studio says is next
The launch post lists what the team plans to work on after release, among them controller support, an online challenge mode for comparing designs, and “Transparent fabrics that weren’t included in the launch version of the game.” Listed in the studio's launch post, Dressmaker - Out Now! It also mentions mobile and Switch ports, covered on Switch and mobile. None of these has a date.
