Dressmaker demo and the free prototype

There is no demo on the Steam store page. What players call the Dressmaker demo is the prototype the game grew from, still on itch.io at pay what you want.

Where the prototype came from

The itch.io page says: “This prototype was initially made by Free Lives in about 3 weeks.” Written on the free Dressmaker prototype on itch.io The same page says the team is now working on a full version.

Should you start with it?

It costs nothing to find out whether cutting and sewing by hand suits you. The commissions on the commission finder and the Steam achievements are from the full game.
